Past Masters

A Worshipful Master’s duties encompass a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the smooth operation and growth of our fraternity. These include presiding over lodge meetings, overseeing ritual work, providing mentorship to members, fostering a sense of unity and brotherhood, and representing the lodge in the community.

Past Worshipful Masters (The honored men you see below) continue to play vital roles, offering guidance and wisdom based on their experience. They serve as advisors to the current leadership, provide historical perspective, mentor newer members, participate in ritual work, and contribute to the overall welfare of the lodge. Their dedication and hard work are invaluable in upholding the traditions and values of Freemasonry while ensuring the continued success of our lodge.

The PAST MASTERS symbol

The Past Masters symbol in Freemasonry holds significant iconography. It typically consists of the Square and Compasses, with the addition of the Quadrant or Quadrant and Sun. The Square and Compasses represent the tools of our craft, emphasizing morality, integrity, and the pursuit of knowledge. The Quadrant symbolizes time, wisdom, and experience, reflecting the Past Master's role as a repository of Masonic knowledge and tradition. The Sun represents enlightenment and illumination, highlighting the Past Master's duty to guide and inspire fellow Masons on their journey toward personal and spiritual growth. Together, these elements signify the esteemed status and leadership responsibilities entrusted to Past Masters within our fraternity.
