Worshipful Master - Mike

We are honored to introduce our Worshipful Master, Mike Kish. A dedicated leader and committed Mason, Mike brings a lifetime of service and integrity to our Lodge. Mike served over 27 years in the United States Army, retiring in 2015 as a Command Sergeant Major and a veteran of both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. His dedication to public service continued in 2016 when he joined the Idaho State Police, where he currently serves our beautiful state of Idaho. With an advanced degree from Northcentral University and a long list of military and civilian accolades, Mike exemplifies the principles of leadership, brotherhood, and service that Freemasonry holds dear. His passion for supporting veterans, his community, and the state of Idaho drives his mission as Worshipful Master. Mike resides in Meridian, Idaho, with his wife and three of their four fantastic children. His commitment to family, faith, and fellowship is a cornerstone of his Masonic journey, and he is honored to lead Capital City 93 in a spirit of unity and growth. Under Worshipful Master Mike Kish’s leadership, Capital City Lodge No. 93 continues to be a beacon of brotherhood, charity, and enlightenment. Senior Warden - Ike

We are infinitely privilege to have as our Senior Warden, Ike. Residing in the heart of Boise, Idaho, Ike epitomizes the spirit of Freemasonry, embodying principles of dedication, growth, and service. Though relatively new to the ranks of Master Masonry, Ike has swiftly garnered the respect and admiration of numerous brethren throughout the Treasure Valley, earning recognition for his unwavering commitment to the craft. While also recently embracing the path of the Scottish Rite, Ike's ascent in leadership within our lodge has been nothing short of remarkable, a testament to his dedication and passion for Masonic teachings. Alongside his beloved furry companion, Ike devotes his Tuesday nights to the noble endeavor of imparting Masonic knowledge and ritual to our newer brethren, instilling within them a deep understanding and reverence for our timeless traditions. With his compassionate spirit, boundless enthusiasm, and unwavering dedication, Ike exemplifies the very essence of Freemasonry, and we are privileged to have him serve as our Senior Warden for the year 2024-2025.

Junior Warden - Alex

Brother Alex Griffin, who is serving as Junior Warden for the first time this year. A man of dedication, intellect, and service, Alex brings both professional excellence and a deep commitment to the values of Freemasonry. Alex’s academic and professional journey reflects his passion for learning and service. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Spanish from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, followed by a Graduate Certificate in Public Health. He then pursued his Medical Degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee before completing a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Chicago and a Body Imaging fellowship at Yale University. Outside of his professional life, Alex is a devoted husband and father who enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, fishing, traveling, reading, sports, and cooking. His commitment to personal growth and fellowship makes him a valued leader within our Lodge. As Junior Warden, Alex plays a key role in ensuring the well-being and harmony of our Lodge, and we are excited to see his leadership and dedication in action this year.
